Abstract
The first Hungarian folk customs’ collection was published in 1867, and since then they broaden, by the cognition of other cultures. Originally they come from the rustic people’s everyday life, and there can be found activities according to the seasons’ holidays as well. It is a weighty task to save these cultural values in the modern era, in which animation/entertainment could be helpful. Aim of this study is to review some folk customs in winter folk holidays, as well as to give ideas to use them in the frame of animation activities for the present and future recreators, or colorizing the home events.
